We only run private, custom tours — no group joining. Every itinerary is adjusted to your group size, interests and pace.
What does the roots journey service include?+
Pre-trip lead research, accompanied village visits, liaison with village committees and clan members, clan-hall ceremony arrangements, and translation throughout.
When is the best time to visit Chaoshan?+
October to April is most comfortable. Chinese New Year offers the richest folk activities but requires early booking; summer is hot and rainy, better for island trips.

Can I join if I don't speak Chinese?+
Yes. We provide English-speaking service, and mixed-language families are welcome — our guides help bridge communication.
How do I get to Chaoshan?+
Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport connects Southeast Asia and major Chinese cities; the Chaoshan high-speed rail station links Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xiamen. We arrange pickups.
